This is what an employer pays for and what a sceptic will test. Typing stopped being scarce. Knowing what to build, and being able to prove it works, did not. Agents make the gap between the two people much wider, because the output looks alike until something breaks.
Say it to your agent
“Before you start, write the acceptance checks for this change in docs/plan.md. When you finish, show me the diff, the test output and anything you are unsure about. I will read it, because I have to be able to explain it.”
