Pull request
Also called PR, Merge request, MR
A request, on a hosting site such as GitHub, to merge one branch into another. It shows the diff, collects comments and check results, and keeps the whole discussion attached to the change.
This is the gate between an agent and the real project. Checks run, someone reads it, and the decision goes on the record. It is also where you write what you checked and why you believe it, which makes it proof that a person was in charge.
Say it to your agent
“Open a draft with gh pr create --draft. In the body, write what changed and why, how you tested it with the real command output, and anything you are unsure about. Don't mark it ready, and don't merge it.”
